Description: This journal is designed so that you can write whatever you want, whenever you want. There is no start date or end date. There is no need to feel like you are behind in writing or that you need to be consistent every day. Although I highly recommend you coming back to your journal on a regular basis, don’t feel the pressure to write every day (especially if you are just getting used to journaling).
Being single can be tough when it seems like everyone else around you is getting married and having kids (especially when those are the desires of your heart).
Use this journal to write your frustrations, to pray for your future spouse, to work through heartbreak, and to just be real with God. There are a lot of truth bombs in this journal that are going to make you think. If something gets stirred up in your heart, use this journal to write it down. Don’t dismiss it. Work through it with the Lord.
Ask the Lord to show you what’s going on in your heart above all else. Whenever you get out on paper what you need to get out, always end with hope and encouragement to yourself.
I want you to know there are no rules when it comes to writing. Just write. Write whatever comes to your mind and let it flow out onto the paper.
Just remember that being single is not a curse and there’s nothing you can do to make Him love you any less.
Details: 124 pages filled with scripture, quotes, and small devotionals. Every page is filled with new inspiration (with none repeating). The lines for journaling are college ruled.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will I use this journal?
I wish I could say, “Yes, you will use the journal.” But, ultimately, it comes down to you opening it up and knowing that you are worth the time and investment. Isn’t it funny how easy it can be to take care of others but so hard to take care of (work on) ourselves? I know it can be intimidating to write, especially if you don’t know how to write or what to write about. I have included in each journal 7 Tips to Journaling and a How to Use This Journal so that you can gain confidence in writing.
Do I want to spend money on another journal?
Your relationship with God is worth investing in. These journals won’t do the work for you, but they will challenge you to go into a deeper relationship with Him. I think we can all agree that more of Him is what we want, right? Amen! Make it more about Him and less about you. Writing (no matter what that looks like to you) gives you an opportunity to open up, be raw, and to be real with our Savior. These journals are special because they are designed to help you keep the main thing, the main thing, which is eyes on Jesus.
How is this journal different than other journals?
Wonderfully Made Journals are designed so that every day you have a new scripture, mini devotional, or reminder that points you and your heart back to Jesus. Each journal has a very specific topic (area of life) that you may struggle with, want more direction guidance in, or could use more prayer in. You will never see a repeating scripture, mini devotional, or reminder. There is plenty of space to write, as the lines are college ruled. There are no start and end dates, either.
